Ryan M. Ranson,

Managing Partner

Ryan M. Ranson heads the Ranson & Ranson law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. After graduating from US News “Top 25” law school, University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2018, he immediately worked for Florida’s largest law firm, Cole Scott & Kissane with a primary focus on commercial litigation.

In 2020, he worked for “Am Law top 100” law firm, Boies Schiller and Flexner, in Hollywood, FL. At Boies Schiller & Flexner he primarily focused on family law related matters involving high net worth individuals and their businesses. Attorney Ryan Ranson had the pleasure of representing many celebrity and notable political figures during that time.

Attorney Ryan Ranson is known for his results. His clients are quoted as saying, “Ryan is the type of attorney that goes the extra mile and does an exceptional job at representing his clients.”

Characteristics such as integrity, determination, and being prepared, are second nature to attorney Ranson and have helped him earn a reputation of achieving optimal results for his clients. In addition to his duties as an attorney, he has been able to establish and maintain a strong and effective network that has given him the ability to develop key relationships with his peers. Likewise, he is honored to serve as the 2022 American Bar Association family law section Vice Chair for the Young Lawyers Association, and 2022 Vice Chair for the ABA Law Student Organization.

Further, attorney Ranson has experience litigating in federal and state court. He has represented clients located in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Ocala, among others.

It’s a well-known fact that attorney Ranson enjoys his job, specifically, helping others and their families, who would otherwise succumb to the injustices in our court system.

Notably, attorney Ryan Ranson is the son of attorney Lyne Ranson, who is the owner of Lyne Ranson Law Offices, the son of Cynthia and Michael Ranson who own Ranson Law Offices, and the brother of Honorable Judge Brittany Ranson-Stonestreet.

Lyne Ranson, Esq.

Lyne Ranson is a limited partner at the Ranson & Ranson law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is not licensed to practice law in Florida. In addition to her advisory role at Ranson & Ranson, she is the owner of Lyne Ranson Law Offices, located in Charleston, WV.

Notably, Lyne Ranson is the owner of the largest and most prominent family law firm in West Virginia. After graduating from law school in 1982, she spent seven years as a Federal Assistant U.S. Attorney.

She was later elected as the second female Circuit Court Judge in West Virginia history. After her time on the bench, she founded her own law practice. She has practiced law for 40 years, and now exclusively practices and mediates family law matters.

In addition to her involvement in her own practice, and advisory role with Ranson and Ranson, she serves as Chair of the West Virginia State Bar family law committee, among many other leadership roles.

Lyne Ranson is also a distinguished member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and American Academy Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), serving in various leadership roles.

She has been a local, state, and national family law speaker presenting topics on alimony, marital property, client management, dividing family businesses and prenuptial agreements, among others.
